What exactly is hydro-jetting?

Hydro-jetting sends 3,000–4,000 PSI of pressurized water through a specialized nozzle to scour grease, soap scum, scale, sludge, and small roots off the inside of your pipe — restoring it to near-original diameter. Unlike a snake (which just punches a hole), jetting actually cleans the pipe walls.

Is hydro-jetting safe for old pipes?

Done properly, yes. We always camera the line first. If the pipe is cracked, severely corroded, or misaligned, we won't jet it — we'll give you a repair path instead. When the pipe is structurally sound (which most are), jetting is totally safe.

How often should I have drains deep-cleaned?

Most homes: every 2–3 years as preventive care. Restaurants and commercial kitchens: quarterly. Multi-unit plexes: annually. We'll recommend a realistic interval based on what the camera shows.

Will jetting get rid of the sewer smell?

Yes — if the smell is from drain buildup. Hydro-jetting removes the decomposing material that causes odor, and the enzyme treatment keeps it from coming back. If the smell has another source (dry trap, broken vent, cracked pipe), we'll tell you and fix the right thing.
